Steve Pust
Steve Pust Savage, MT Montana-Dakota Beet Growers Association Steve is a third generation farmer/rancher, having lived in the Savage community his entire life. In 1978, he began his farming/ranching operation in the Lower Yellowstone Valley. Steve and his wife, Marilyn, farm 1,150 acres of irrigated cropland, as well as dryland crop and pasture acres. Crops grown include sugarbeets, wheat, barley, corn, soybeans and alfalfa. They also raise stock cows, as well as owns a cattle feeding operation. Steve has been a member of the ASGA Board of Directors since 2010 and is Vice Chairman of the Meeting Committee and serves on the Executive, Finance International Affairs, and Biotech Committees. As a 30 year member of the Savage Irrigation District Board, he has been serving as President the last 15 years. Steve has also served on the Yellowstone River Basin Advisory Council, developing Montana’s State Water Plan, as well as on Richland County Conservation District for 15 years. He is a member of the Stockman Bank Advisory Board, Pheasants Forever and Walleye’s Unlimited. Steve and his wife, Marilyn, have two sons, Trevor and Erick.]]>
