James Taylor lives and farms in Declo, Idaho. Crops raised include sugarbeets, dry beans, corn, hay and wheat. James and his wife, Casie, have two kids; daughters Daqlyn and Roczen. James farms with his father-in-law. James is the 4th generation on the farm. Prior to farming, James worked in the mines in Nevada.

James serves as a Director for the Cassia County Sugarbeet Growers Association and the Snake River Sugarbeet Growers Association. He joined the ASGA Board of Directors in 2019. He serves on various committees.
